Ashwell Flowers is about sharing nature and knowledge and nurturing flowers and creativity - and having fun. As well as sharing information about the journey of developing an artisan flower farm, Ashwell Flowers is committed to supporting other flower farmers and working with other local floral and creative professionals who share a passion for creativity and sustainability. We do this under the ‘Ashwell Flowers Hosts …’ banner.

Suzanne Humbert
Suzanne studied Floral Design at The Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in Central London and now runs her own specialist wedding and event business from her rural studio in North Hertfordshire.
By choosing to include flowers and foliage in our celebrations we are choosing to celebrate the beauty of these stunning natural resources and I strongly believe that there should be no negative impact on our treasured planet. My approach to floral design - be it a large wedding or a small event - is always to look at a sustainable approach as well as the beauty nature can provide.

Lizzie Cree
Lizzie is a wedding and events floral designer specialising in romantic, natural flowers with a hint of wild. Based on the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire border but working all over the UK. Her designs are inspired by the seasons and her joy is in the little details, creating a natural, loose and elegant aesthetic. She particularly enjoys the seasonality and unique elements that come with working with British flowers and is very excited to be collaborating with Barbara to guide you through designing your own gorgeous floral arrangements.
I have always loved flowers, and when I studied at Wimbledon School of Art, I decided to specialise in fashion and textiles, with flowers and nature having a huge influence on my designs.
Later on, when I trained as a florist at Shuttleworth College; I knew immediately I wanted to work within the wedding flower industry, deciding it was sensible to gain as much experience as possible, whilst perfecting my style.
My experience working within retail floristry over the next 6 years was invaluable - learning the trade from all aspects.
