An eco-friendly workshop to experience
eco - floristry products and techniques - £75.

Join Barbara at Ashwell Flower Farm with Floral Designer Suzy Randell for this afternoon workshop to create a beautiful Summer Meadow Box – designed using British flowers - and learn about the latest eco-floristry techniques.   

We’ll start the afternoon by exploring Ashwell Flower Farm where Barbara will talk about the British Flower Movement and share details about what she's growing and how to cut and condition flowers.  Floral designer Suzy Randell will then discuss various eco-floristry techniques, whilst demonstrating and guiding you to create your own eco-friendly Summer Meadow Box using seasonal British ingredients.

During the workshop you’ll gain experience using two different eco-techniques whilst creating a Summer Meadow to take home. You’ll also learn about the importance of sustainable floristry and be provided with a useful reference sheet covering different eco-floristry materials and suppliers.  Eco-floristry kit bags will also be available (to purchase) so you can continue practicing at home.  

Finally, we’ll take photographs of our creations while enjoying a glass of bubbles and reflecting on what we’ve learnt before you take your designs home. Your photographs will be a good record of your work as well as a potential addition to your floral portfolio collection. 

This workshop is for anyone interested in spending a lovely afternoon learning about, and designing with British cut flowers. It will suit both beginners and those wishing to further develop their skills and knowledge about sustainable eco-floristry.
